Meet your coach....

Hi!

I'm Ciara- an American living in Germany with my husband & our little one. Growing up I knew 1 thing: I always wanted to be my own boss. (Well, 2 things really: 1. I wanted to be a mom and 2. I wanted to be my own boss.)

My whole life, I crossed my i’s and dotted my t’s- I checked all the boxes. I did what I thought I should do: I graduated college, I got a job & something was still missing.

So, I got on a plane. That was 2010. Flash forward to 2020….

As the world was having a mid-life whatever, I felt the tug ... again.

I knew owning my own business was the end goal, but I wan’t 100% certain what that would look like. I dug deep and I sought council.

...and by the end of the year, I had started my coaching business.

After 3 years of self-discovery, a sh*t-ton of coaching many personal and professional wins, setbacks and challenges, I am exactly where I supposed to be: RIGHT HERE! supporting new coaches as they elevate & enhance their skills to serve their clients.

What I learned about myself:

  • I’ve got more gumption & strength than I even knew about.

  • No matter how great your boss, they are still your boss.

  • I run in cycles. This knowledge is power- it helps me stay balanced.

  • I equal parts love expat life and am over it- but knowing I am giving my kid opportunities I never had, adds the edge. Munich for the win.

  • I’m not good at everything. I ask for help when I need it.

  • I can do hard things. I can move across the ocean by myself. I can provide for myself. I can struggle & survive. I can power through Germany bureaucracy. I can open my own business in a foreign country. I can thrive.

The power of knowledge is not in having it, but in sharing it.

No matter how long I live, I will only be able to coach so many people- I live on the same clock that everyone does. By helping new coaches harness their power & authenticity to serve their clients with evidence based, ICF focused skills, the impact multiplies.

I am thankful that my journey, no matter how challenging or roundabout, led me to here: exactly where I am supposed to be.

Ciara xx
